Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and VSIM SVOIM on how to use the platform: the bot @vsimsvoim_bot, the app in Telegram, the website vsimsvoim.com and our Telegram groups. By using any of them, you accept these terms. How we process data is described separately in the Privacy Policy.

1. What VSIM SVOIM is

A listings platform for Ukrainians abroad: jobs, housing, services, a marketplace, events, community and useful information. Platform operator: VSIM SVOIM, contact: support@vsimsvoim.com.

We provide a place where people publish and find listings. We are not an employer, recruitment agency, estate agent or seller, nor a party to arrangements between users.

2. Age and account

  • You may use the platform from the age of 16 and publish listings from the age of 18.
  • An account is created automatically when you open the bot or the app, or sign in to the website with Telegram or Google. Telegram and Google sign-ins can be joined into one account.
  • You are responsible for what is done from your account. Do not give others access to it and do not create accounts in someone else's name.

3. Price

Using the platform is currently free. If paid features appear, we will describe their terms and price in advance, and it will be up to you whether to use them.

4. Rules for listings

A listing must be truthful, current and about a real offer. It is forbidden to publish:

  • anything illegal in the country the listing is for, including drugs, weapons, forged documents, stolen goods and unlicensed gambling;
  • vacancies that ask job seekers to pay upfront for a job, documents or travel, and hidden intermediation: if you are an intermediary, say so plainly;
  • offers involving human trafficking, forced labour, work without a lawful basis or sexual services;
  • discrimination by nationality, sex, age, religion or other characteristics, except where the law allows it;
  • fraud, pyramid schemes, or «easy money» without a description of real work;
  • other people's personal data, photos or contacts without their consent;
  • insults, threats, hate speech, adult content;
  • advertising, spam, repeats of the same listing and links to unrelated third-party resources.

A listing must match the section and country it is placed in. Price and conditions must be stated honestly.

5. Review and moderation

  • Listings are reviewed before publication. Some may be approved straight away by an automatic check; everything else is looked at by a moderator. The automatic check never rejects a listing on its own.
  • We may reject, recategorise, hide or delete a listing that breaks these terms or the law, and will tell you why in the bot.
  • A listing you have not confirmed as current for a long time may be taken off display until you renew it.
  • For serious or repeated violations we may restrict or block an account.
  • If you disagree with a decision, write to support and a person will review it.

6. Your content

The texts, photos and videos you add remain yours. By publishing them, you give VSIM SVOIM a free, non-exclusive permission to show them in the bot, the app, on the website, in our Telegram groups and in search engine results, and to change their format technically (compress, crop for previews). The permission lasts while the listing is published and for as long afterwards as it takes to remove it from our sections.

You confirm that you have the right to publish this content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

7. Dealings between people, and safety

You agree, work, rent or buy directly with another person. We do not verify authors' identities and do not guarantee the quality, legality or fulfilment of their offers. Please:

  • do not pay strangers upfront and never share codes from text messages;
  • do not hand your passport or other documents to an employer for safekeeping;
  • check the contract and the accommodation before paying;
  • if something looks like a scam, tap «Report» and we will look into it.

8. What you may not do with the platform

  • collect listings or contacts in bulk with software (scraping), except search engines that respect our robots.txt;
  • use contacts from listings for mailings or advertising;
  • send automated requests, get around limits, or try to obtain other people's data or admin access;
  • pretend to be another person or VSIM SVOIM;
  • disrupt the platform or other users.

9. Reporting content

If you see a listing, review or post that breaks the law or these terms, tap «Report» next to it or write to support@vsimsvoim.com. Say what exactly is wrong and where. We handle reports without undue delay, decide with human involvement and tell the author why if their content is restricted. This contact is also the single point of contact for authorities and users within the meaning of the EU Digital Services Act.

10. Liability

We do our best to keep the platform running smoothly, but provide it «as is» and cannot promise it will never stop or contain errors. We are not responsible for users' listings or for the outcome of dealings between them. Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law of your country of residence gives you as a consumer, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

11. Ending your use

You may stop using the platform at any time and ask for your account to be deleted; the Privacy Policy explains how. We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

12. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms when the service or the law changes. The new version will appear on this page with a new date, and we will announce significant changes in advance in the bot or on the website. If you do not agree with a new version, you may stop using the platform and delete your account.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the operator lives or is registered. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence. Please write to us first; most issues can be settled quickly. EU residents may also turn to their national consumer protection authorities.
